Many people may discover the effects of trauma, which can cause them to live with deep emotional pain, fear, anxiety, depression, confusion, or post traumatic stress. 

The support, guidance, and assistance of a trained therapist is fundamental to healing from trauma, and I offer a safe, supportive space to heal. I am trained in EMDR*, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as other modalities. We design a plan tailored to your needs and comfort level.

For all Jewish women regardless of their level of engagement or observance, that incorporates the wisdom of Judaism to bring about healing and mental well-being. 

Counseling for 12-Steppers

Psychotherapy and 12 Step Recovery can be a wonderful partnership. Many people in recovery have found that they needed “outside help” to address challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and more. As a trained therapist who herself recovered from an eating disorder through the 12 Step program, I would be honored to support you on your journey.

Grief Counseling

Loss is so hard.  While bereavement refers to the process of recovering from the death of a loved one, grief is a reaction for any form of loss, and both encompass a wide range of emotions such as fear, anger and deep, deep sadness.

Being a caregiver for an aging parent is an overwhelming — yet important and rewarding — role to fill. If you’re in the “sandwich generation,” it can be even more difficult, and caregiver burnout is very real. Let’s talk about what you can do to take care of yourself in order to be emotionally and physically available for everyone who needs you, including Mom or Dad. Don’t live near your aging loved ones? I can also be the eyes and ears on the ground for adult children and family members who live at a distance.
